Stirling & O'Connell

Stirling & O'Connell is a two lawyer firm consisting of partners Ann M. Stirling and Michael P. O'Connell, who are wife and husband. Ms. Stirling and Mr. O'Connell practiced with one another for approximately five years in the mid 1980s and in 1996 became re-associated. During the hiatus, Mr. O'Connell was the Chief Public Defender for Charleston County and then a Federal Public Defender in Charleston. Ms. Stirling specializes exclusively in Family Law. Mr. O'Connell practices Federal and State Criminal Defense at both the trial and appellate levels. He also practices Family Law at the trial and appellate levels.
